Shawdesh Desk: Cox’s Bazar, July 10 (UNB) – Police recovered bodies of six people from Sughanda point of Cox’s Bazar sea beach in the district town on Wednesday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Khairuzzaman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Sadar Model police station, said that on information a team of police recovered four bodies from the beach around 6:00am and recovered two more bodies around 8:00am. They also found a trawler near the beach.
Police suspected that all the victims were fishermen and might have died in trawler capsize amid storm.
The bodies were taken to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
